Their expertise extends to all areas of structural works including residential buildings, commercial buildings, warehouses, storage structures, infrastructure, hospitals, construction works, and heritage buildings. Our staff are effective communicators who contribute and collaborate in design teams to ensure that effective solutions are delivered to our clients.
MANAGEMENT & ENGINEERING
Colin Lynskey
Founder and Director
Colin has over 35 years experience with 4 UK based and 4 Australian based engineering consultancies. He has been a team leader of multi-disciplined design teams on residential, commercial, industrial and government construction projects with both design and site construction supervision roles.
Les Simonsen
Senior Structural Engineer
Les has over 35 years experience in most facets of structural engineering, predominantly in the design of heavy industrial structures and pavements, and controlled demolition of multi-story buildings. His expertise also includes geotechnical investigation, foundation design, remediation of industrial pavements, structural audit and forensic investigation reports, and contract administration.
Joe Song
Structural Engineer
Joe completed his degree at Nottingham University in 2012, and has 7 years experience as a structural Engineer in China before moving to Australia. He has developed strong general structural analysis and design competence and has now been with the company since 2021.
TECHNICAL & DRAFTING
Diego Taguada
Senior Structural Technician
Diego has been with the company since 2007 and has in excess of 25 years experience in structural drafting, reinforced concrete detailing, post tensioned concrete detailing, and construction inspections. He heads up our drafting team and sets the tone for our quality documentation.
Jeison Mendoza
Structural Technician
Jeison commenced work with the company in 2021 and has gained experience in structural drafting in the residential sector. He specialises in new houses, extensions, lift and build in, renovations, and rectification works/underpinning.
Tom Wohlers
Structural Technician
Tom has been with the company since 2016 and has over 20 years experience in civil and structural drafting in all forms of construction with locally based consultants. He specialises in BIM design drafting and coordinates our Revit development and direction.
